The PCB Blues
Liner Notes-1991

PCB Blues, 1991 In 1991, 15 Bloomington musicians came together and wrote 16 songs on a single theme, Westinghouse's proposed garbage-fueled toxic waste incinerator. This music was part of the mix of protest, discussion, lawsuits, and communication that finally stopped plans for the experimental incinerator. The music was inspiration for the community, and an artistic statement that reflected the concerns of the community. Bloomington's top muscians played in a variety of styles from a capella and blues to hip hop and electronica. We urge other communities learn to use the arts as a means to save their particular section of the world.

Below are MP3s of each of the tunes on the album, in the order they were on the album. Enjoy! [Right click on the link to the MP3 and "save target as" (Windows), or click and hold and "save target" (Mac)]
