Citizens Information Committee
The Citizen's Information Committee (CIC) was formed in November, 1989, to provide an avenue for information sharing and dialogue between the U.S.EPA Region 5 and the area's communities. The CIC is composed of representatives of local and state government, environmental groups, and citizens. The committee meets approximately every six to eight weeks depending on when major evens are taking place, to discuss issues of immediate community concern regarding the local PCB sites. Committee members are charged with the responsibility of disseminating information to their constituents and providing a meeting space. There is a full library of tapes of these meetings at CATS in the Monroe County Public Library and you can view the latest meeting online at http://stream.hoosier.net/cats/archived.html by looking for EPA/CIC in the Miscellaneous section. 2007 2006 2005 2004 2003 2002 2001 2000
