4.1.2.8   Description of Alternative 8, TSCA Landfill

Under Alternative 8, the contaminated materials would be shipped
by truck or rail to the off-site TSCA  landfill facility.  Any
materials that cannot be landfilled should be incinerated in a
commercial TSCA incinerator.  Table 4-2 lists TSCA-approved PCB
incinerators and landfills, and Table 4-3 lists the appropriate
method of treatment or disposal for the various contaminated
materials present at the six CD sites.  Figures 4-30 and 4-31
present material flow diagrams for Scenario 1 and Scenario 2
respectively.
