Summer 1995: Approximately 25,000 tons of PCB-contaminated soil at the ABB Plan (formerly the Westinghouse plant) was loaded onto rail cars and transported to the USPCI landfill in Utah. February 1996: Some contamination remains at the ABB Plant site and will need to be remediated. Remediation of approximately 17,000 ppm PCBs in soil beneath a concrete/asphalt loading dock, and groundwater contamination elsewhere, are currently being addressed by EPA and Westinghouse.
