Updates on Demolishing the Bloomington ABB Plant
Sept 11-22, 2006
Below is the schedule for the next two weeks for demolition work at
our former manufacturing facility at 300 North Curry Pike Road.
If you know of someone else that should be added to the addressee
list, let me know. Conversely, if you do not want such information,

Week of September 11th
Building Demolition

Arrange for disposal of PCB contaminated asbestos.

Arrange for disposal of PCB contaminated asbestos.
Set and calibrate truck scales.

Arrange for disposal of PCB contaminated asbestos.
Complete asbestos abatement.

Arrange for disposal of PCB contaminated asbestos.
Sample tranformer oil for PCBs.

Arrange for disposal of PCB contaminated asbestos.
Open and inspect all above ground storage tanks and process
vessels.

Arrange for disposal of PCB contaminated asbestos.
Begin disconnecting below grade utilities.

Arrange for disposal of PCB contaminated asbestos.
Complete set up of stormwater treatment system.

Verify plant process lines as empty.
Week of September 18th
Building Demolition

Finish removal and load-out of any remaining universal waste

Drop electrical power to plant substation and ground substation
components after power disconnect.

Disconnect gas lines at main.

Plug all drains and holes in floor prior to removal of PCB
wastes.
