Updates on Demolishing the Bloomington ABB Plant
May 1-15, 2006
Below is the schedule for the next two weeks for demolition work at our
former manufacturing facility at 300 North Curry Pike Road.
Week of May 1st
Asbestos Abatement/Universal Waste Removal
Asbestos removal will begin in the second floor office area. Abatement
activities will begin in the old boiler room and will continue in the
original fan room. Removal of pipe wrap and transite will begin in the
central portion of the building.
Building Demolition
Engineer to respond to bidders questions on the RFP. Bidder visits to
continue.
Additional Sampling
Some additional roof samples and some samples of the water in the
cistern will be collected.
Week of May 8th
Asbestos Abatement/Universal Waste Removal
Asbestos abatement activities to continue. Removal of asbestos in old

the central portion of the building to continue.

Addenda to the RFP to be prepared based on Bidder's questions and Site
visits by interested bidders to continue. Engineer will respond to
bidders questions on the RFP.
Additional Sampling
No additional sampling planned.
