Click here for larger versionThis fact sheet is the first in a series of updates on five Superfund sites containing various levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) near Bloomington, Indiana. These sites include Neal's Landfill, Winston-Thomas Wastewater Treatment Plant (Winston-Thomas), Neal's Dump, Bennett's Dump, and Lemon Lane Landfill. In the interest of keeping the public informed of cleanup activities at these sites, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) will provide the community with these updates on a regular basis. Each update will provide information for each site; however, depending on current activities, one or more sites may receive more emphasis. This fact sheet emphasizes cleanup activities that have begun at the Neal's Landfill site.
